Gran Turismo 6 will ship with over 1,200 cars. There's a way to get even more, though. Participating retailers will offer additional cars to pre-order customers.

Pre-ordering GT6 will give you access to the 4-Car Pack. This DLC gives you access to...four cars. They include the BMW Z4 GT3 ’11, Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 ’13, Tesla Model S Signature Performance ’13 and Chevrolet Corvette Stingray (C7) ’14. You can see each in the gallery below.

In addition to give you these four cars, Amazon will also throw in $1 million of in-game money. This cash can be used to buy new cars in the game or upgrade them. It should give you an early edge on the multiplayer competition.

GameStop pre-order customers, meanwhile, will get a free upgrade to the 15th Anniversary Edition. In addition to the four vehicles listed above, the Anniversary Edition includes these vehicles:
  • Alfa Romeo TZ3 Stradale 2011
  • Alpine A110 1600S 1968
  • Aston Martin V12 Vantage 2010
  • Audi R8 LMS ultra 2012
  • Ford Focus ST 2013
  • Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 2013
  • Honda HSV-010 (SUPER GT) 2011
  • Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 2011
  • Lexus IS F Racing Concept 2008
  • Lotus Europa (type54) 1968
  • Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 2011
  • Renault Sport Megane Trophy V6 2011
  • SRT Viper GTS 2013
  • TRD 86 Racing 2008
  • Volkswagen Scirocco GT24 Race Car 2008
Each car is said to come with its own special upgrades or visual enhancements. Buyers will also get a custom race suit, helmet, and PSN avatar. Rounding out the 15th Anniversary Edition package is an app called Beyond the Apex II. Presumably that app is similar to the first Beyond the Apex, a behind-the-scenes documentary on GT 5 Prologue.

Gran Turismo 6 was announced in May for the PS3. The game is said to have all of the cars and tracks from GT5 plus several new additions. Silverstone Circuit, for example, will make its series debut. A brand-new engine and revamped user interface are also promised. The game is launching on PS3 rather than PS4 due to sales concerns.
