Warner Bros and NetherRealm Studios have confirmed that a playable demo for Injustice: Gods Among Us will be made available for the Xbox 360 and PS3 starting next week on April 2nd. To help celebrate the news, the studio released a brand new trailer for the game featuring Black Adam.
The game features a fresh cast of characters from the DC Universe, ranging from lesser known characters like Raven to popular characters like Aquaman. The game runs on Mortal Kombat's fighting engine, which shouldn't be much of a surprise to anyone since NetherRealm Studios made both games.
Players are able to pull off special moves, super combos and interact seamlessly with the environment, making use of all sorts of shenanigans during a fight.
The demo will allow gamers to get a small taste of the super-powered fisticuffs action and pummel, pound, punch, kick and blast through opponents ahead of the April 16th launch date. You can check out a few fights right here and right here to get an idea of what the gameplay will be like. For more information be sure to pay a visit to the game's Official Website.
