Later this week everyone will get their fill of KillZone 2, exclusively on the PlayStation 3. And even though many eager fans have already had their fill of the multiplayer in this triple-A blockbuster with the beta-test late last year, I’m sure some of you might be interested in seeing what the game looked like way back in 2006.

It was in 2006 that we were introduced to the CG footage that set the gaming community on fire regarding KillZone 2. The footage was used as a target render for what the PS3 would output when the time came, and boy did Guerrilla Games nail that sucker. However, what do you think the multiplayer gameplay looked like back then? Apart from the render, how much of the game do you think was completed? Well, Gaming Front posted up some footage they found on YouTube.

You can check out the internal multiplayer footage by Jumping Through This Link. Looks good to be three years old…which means that they were already gunning for their target render once they released it. Nice. You can look for KillZone 2 to hit store shelves on February 27th, and be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games for more news and info regarding all things gaming.
