Sony may soon re-release all of the Killzone console games in one package. Amazon France is now listing Killzone Trilogy for release on the PS3 later this fall.

Amazon France's listing says the bundle will cost €59.99 on release. That's about $75 here in the United States. I have doubts they'd sell it for more than $60 here, though. After all, it's competing with newer games for customers' attention.

While it's not specified in the listing, the Trilogy presumably includes Killzone, Killzone 2 and Killzone 3. Series developer never announced a fourth installment in the series. The release of this bundle would be a good time to do it.

It's also not clear whether Killzone, originally a PS2 game, will be enhanced in any way for this bundle.. Guerrilla was at one point working on a non-HD port of the game for the PS3. The project was shelved, however. It's possible that Sony decided an HD remake would be a smarter use of the studio's time.

Re-releasing major first-party franchises in trilogy compilations has become something of a hobby for Sony. As Eurogamer notes, Sly, Resistance, Jak and Daxter, and Ratchet and Clank games have all returned to stores in compilations. Sony has also arranged for third-party bundles like Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Classic Trilogy HD and Prince Of Persia Classic Trilogy HD.

Amazon France says that Killzone Trilogy will arrive on October 24th. If that's true, then perhaps Sony will formally announce this bundle soon.
