Rockstar will release the first batch of multiplayer DLC for Max Payne 3 this week. To generate some interest, they've thrown together a trailer with highlights from the new content.
Local Justice adds three maps based on the last chapters of the campaign: The Imperial Palace, Departure Lounge and 55th Battalion HQ. A new weapon, item, and police faction give you additional options for online battles. Playing through this new content will earn you Achievements, Trophies or Social Club accomplishments.
The DLC pack arrives on July 3rd on the PS3 and Xbox 360. The PC launch date is July 17th. For the first week of availability, the content will cost 480 MS Points ($6). After that, the price will be bumped up to 640 MS Points ($8).
Rockstar has pretty extensive plans for MP3's DLC. They have at least six more add-ons planned this year. Five of them add content for competitive multiplayer, while the sixth provides some additional co-op action. Doesn't look like they plan to expand the campaign in any way, which is kind of a shame.
