Subscribe To Mega Man Co-Designer Reveals Zombie Action Game Yaiba Updates
Keiji Inafune, co-designer of Mega Man and producer of Dead Rising, revealed his next game today. Yaiba is said to mix zombies with "action, ninjas and mechs."

Inafune left Capcom in late 2010 after 23 years of service. Shortly afterward, he formed Comcept. Comcept appears to be the lead developer for this project.

"Everywhere I go, people ask me, 'When is it coming?'" said Inafune (via Siliconera. "There are so many zombie games out there, yet people ask me for a new Inafune zombie game. I am grateful for people’s respect for me as the 'zombie game creator' and to fulfill that I must answer their expectations with Yaiba."

The first trailer for Yaiba shows a zombie invasion. A lone cyborg figure, clad like a ninja, appears and begins slashing them up. The tagline states that "The dead will die again."

The release date and platforms for Yaiba are currently unknown.
