At E3, THQ showed a gameplay video for post-apocalyptic shooter Metro: Last Light. They plan to release the footage over the Internet in the coming weeks. Today they released Part One.

The video is completely in-game footage, albeit from a pre-alpha build. It shows Artyom and Khan sneaking into a Reich sentry camp. They're trying to find a prisoner who is said to "hold the key to peace in the Metro." The duo sucks at stealth, though, and quickly alert the guards. That's bad for them but good for those of us looking for some combat footage.

THQ will release the second part of the video on July 28th. There are three parts in total.

Metro: Last Light will arrive on the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in March 2012. A Wii U version is also planned but its release date obviously depends on when Nintendo gets that console to stores.
