Activision just sent out a press release indicating that a demo for the upcoming movie-based game is now available on Xbox Live. Either it’s a timed release for the PlayStation Network or PS3 owners will be snubbed, once again, of a mediocre-looking movie-game demo.

One of the upsides to the game, though, is that each character offers a unique variety of gameplay. Said gameplay includes platforming and combat for some characters, puzzle solving for other characters and racing around for another character.

The demo offers gamers three levels of play with three different characters: B.O.B the blob, Ginormica the giant and the Missing Link. The full game is expected to feature co-op modes for players to drop in and out at leisure. Honestly, that’s about it. Sorry if you were expecting any kind of grand-fantastic features or whatnot. All I can say is that this, so far, looks like just another movie-game.

Monsters Vs. Aliens: The game is due out this March for major gaming platforms. You can visit the Official Website for more information about the movie and game, and remember to stay tuned in with Blend Games for further updates and news regarding all things gaming.
