The latest title in the long line of Need for Speed games has finally launched for Nintendo's Wii U. Need for Speed: Most Wanted U hasn't received a whole lot of press but it brings a couple of innovative features to the table along with high-end visual effects and graphics to the home console arena.

Rob O’Farrell, Executive Producer said commented about the recent release from Criterion Games, saying...
“At Criterion Games, we really took the time to learn and understand the Wii U. When creating Need for Speed Most Wanted U, we wanted to maximize the console’s power to deliver an immediately fun and accessible racing experience. We are very proud of the end result.”

The Wii U has received a lot of negative press over the months but this latest release was promoted as a game that was best played on the Wii U due to its diversity and the originality of being one of the few games that has a single-player mode that you can play cooperative by combining gimmicks from the Wii U's GamePad and pairing it with the typical racing skill from the player using the controller, steering wheel or Wiimote.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted U is now out and available at local retailers for the Wii U. If you want to get in on the racing action and expand your Wii U library beyond ZombiU with a high-end game, Need for Speed: Most Wanted U can be purchased for $59.99.
