Tecmo Koei released a new trailer for the upcoming One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2, which seems to be their new go-to game franchise to compensate when they aren't releasing Dynasty Warriors games...even though Omega Force designed and developed both series. Anyway, the newest trailer for Pirate Warriors 2 shows the heroes and villains in action.

Gamers get to see fan-favorites like Zoro, Sanji and the epic Luffy versus Enel boss battle in brief spurts, with tons of pirate beating action thrown in throughout. Unsurprisingly, the trailer comes courtesy of Saiyan Island, who has a keen eye on keeping up to date on these things. Check it out below.

The game looks like standard fare thousand army gameplay, if you're into that sort of thing. Namco Bandai already cleaned up quite well in Japan with the original One Piece: Pirate Warriors or Pirate Musuo, which enabled them to take most of the market share during the spring thanks to the game.

Then again, just about all the Shonen Jump games have been golden gooses for Namco Bandai, including Naruto Shippuden and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi brands.

You can look for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 to launch exclusively for the PlayStation brand on the PS3 and PS Vita during the summer of 2013.
