The long headline is due to all the trademarked properties associated with the new Wooden Fender Stratocaster by Mad Catz Interactive. The company recently announced that the wireless Stratocaster guitar for the Xbox 360 is currently available for purchase at select retailers.

Darren Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz commented in the press release, saying…
“As our latest premium product and flagship guitar, the Wireless Wooden Fender Stratocaster guitar controller brings the authenticity and realism of a full-size genuine Stratocaster to Rock Band, guitar enthusiasts, and music fans alike. The guitar is another example of our strategy to expand our portfolio of premium products.”

The new controller is compatible with Rock Band, Rock Band 2, and the latest The Beatles: Rock Band games. According to the press release, the Stratocaster is a 1:1 replica of the real-life guitar, which means that you probably won’t look like a dork when you whip it out in front of your friends to brag about your uber-music gaming skills.

The good part about the Mad Catz guitar controller is that it doesn’t require any additional power cords, dongles or adapters to operate. The guitar also comes in an alternate hand-painted, Three-Ton Sunburst design and Rosewood finish decal. Sounds kind of kick-butt to be a fake guitar for playing video games, eh?

This one of a kind, high-quality wireless wooden, Fender Stratocaster guitar is available for the suggested retail price of $299.99. Honestly, that’s not that bad a price given the quality of the guitar. For more information be sure to visit the Official Rockband Website.
