Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed has been making the rounds on various platforms since November, but Sega has announced today that the racing game starring some pretty big stars from their own titles, including Pixar's Wreck-It Ralph and real-life NASCAR and Indy car racer, Danica Patrick, has officially launched for Sony's PlayStation Vita.

This latest racing title from Sega is actually the sequel to one of Sega's most accomplished racing games, Sonic & All-Stars Racing. The original game contained many of the famous faces and names from other big time Sega titles, not all of them associated with racing, but the addition of the characters was welcomed nonetheless. For Transformed the roster has been extended, the track selection has been expanded and the transformations give the game an entirely new strategic and gameplay element to master. Check it out in the trailer below.

As showcased in the trailer, gamers will compete against the grid in single or multiplayer events where you can earn credits to unlock new characters and vehicles, tracks and missions. What's more is that each vehicle is equipped to traverse land, sea and space!

You can grab a copy of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed right now for the PlayStation Vita for only $29.99.
