Ever wondered how Rick plans to get those body parts back after they’ve been ripped to shreds by the unholy undead? Well, some new screenshots give gamers a taste of Rick’s regenerative abilities. However, given that they’re screenshots you won’t actually get to see body parts grow back…instead, we see transitions of the damage Rick’s body incurs and how his body is later back to normal.

Splatterhouse is a no-holds-barred re-imagining of what the classic arcade game was supposed to be like. It sports an almost comically induced take on the graphic violence and gore present throughout the series, yet manages to retain its own sense of style and horror. It’s almost shocking Namco is going so far off the deep end for a game like this, but at least they’re taking a few risks rather than pumping out a string of mundane first-person shooters.

You can check out the string of gory new screenshots for Splatterhouse below, or head on over to the Official Website to learn more about the game. Splatterhouse is set to release on November 23rd for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
