New owners of the Xbox 360 version of Splinter Cell: Conviction reported experiencing freezing issues in the single-player campaign. However, Microsoft claims that they've fixed the problem.

"If you were seeing freezing in Splinter Cell - it’s been resolved. No need to do anything, just play and enjoy!" tweeted Xbox Support.

If you're still experiencing issues, though, use the temporary fixes that Ubisoft devised. They say that either disconnecting from Xbox Live or clearing your system cache will do the trick. The full steps are outlined on their forums.
