The HD remakes of the first Splinter Cell games are apparently still a few months away. Retailers are now listing the Blu-ray compilation for an early August release.

The Splinter Cell HD Trilogy brings together Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory in a $39.99 bundle. Ubisoft plans to release the individual games through PSN as well.

The trilogy was originally supposed to be released in March. Then Ubisoft pushed it to late June. The compilation won't make the June 21st release date, though.

"We currently do not have a ship date for it. It will be sometime this summer," Ubisoft told Joystiq today.
