More than seven full minutes of story-based game and cinematic action is detailed in the latest promotional video for the upcoming Zone of the Enders HD Collection for home consoles. The video is entirely in Japanese but you can get the basic gist of what's going on just by watching and keeping your mouth from hitting the floor.
So basically, what is Z.O.E. HD? It's a space-fantasy, sci-fi, stylized mech-action game. I know it's a mouthful but it really is a Hideo Kojima game, so you always have to expect mouthfuls when you talk anything Kojima related.
Most of what you're about to see is gameplay footage interspersed with some snazzy HD, hand-animated anime visuals, completely overhauled for today's generation of high-definition gaming. You can check out the trailer below.
If you feel like you just don't get enough third-person, space-combat, bladed melee, mech-style action, then Zone of the Enders HD isn't a bad way to go when it finally becomes available for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
For now, fans of the popular titles will have to settle for waiting for the game to release, but the other good news is that patience carries a good tradeoff and gamers will have exclusive access to a Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance demo for the home consoles. This is surely an excellent incentive either for fans of Z.O.E. HD or MGS fans who can't wait for the upcoming hack-and-slash action game.
