Some of you may or may not remember our news about a controller device that allowed players to control character movement by jogging in place. The name of the product is jOG. Well, the makers of jOG, New Concept Gaming, announced today that the peripheral is now compatible with over 100 games.

Brendan Ludden, Managing Director of New Concept Gaming commented in the press release saying…
“The decision we made early in development to use ‘overlay’ technology has paid dividends as we see the compatibility list grow day by day,” … “No other accessory in this field works with anywhere close to this number of games. While boredom is never far off with other fitness related peripherals, there will always be new, fresh games coming through that will work perfectly with jOG, and with multiplayer fully supported too, the whole family can join in the fun!”

So now everyone can stand in place, jog, look ridiculous and have fun while doing it all. It’s sort of like using the Wii-mote but for your legs. Seriously, though, the multiplayer support is kind of cool and would make for some interesting gameplay if the Wii actually had any interesting multiplayer games to play.

Anyway, you can check out the list of supported games by visiting the Official Website. For more gaming news, info, insight and updates, be sure to stay tuned in with Blend Games.
