Just yesterday it was discovered that the website for Millennium Films, the studio behind The Expendables 2, had posted a full cast list for the sequel that included new additions such as Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme and Scott Adkins. The site has since removed the list, which can be seen as either a positive or a negative thing for those hoping that the actors have indeed joined the ranks, but today a report from Deadline says that two actors with small roles in the first film will officially be coming back.

Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger, who played Mr. Church and Trench, respectively, in the 2010 blockbuster, are set to return for The Expendables 2. While the story doesn't explain how the two actors will be included in the plot, it does say that their roles will be "substantial." Production on the film is scheduled to begin in October, meaning that Willis will have to squeeze it in while jumping from G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation - which is currently in production - and Die Hard 5, which will also be shooting this fall.

Directed by Simon West and based on a script by Ken Kaufman and David Agosto, the new film sees the team of mercenaries going for revenge against those responsible for the death of Tool (Mickey Rourke). While it doesn't seem that things are official just yet, Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, Terry Crews and Jet Li will all likely reprise their roles in the follow-up.

Arnold Schwarzenegger's next film, The Last Stand, isn't scheduled to start production until the beginning of next year so that half of the story is believable, but how can Bruce Willis possibly have a huge role in the film with such a tight schedule? There were rumors a while back that Willis would be the main villain in the new film, but will he have time for such a big part? I guess we'll just have to wait for a more detailed plot synopsis.
