In Tom Tykwer and the Wachowski siblings' Cloud Atlas, actors are doing a lot more than just than just playing more than one character. Those who have seen the amazing extended first look know that the film's plot is set in multiple different timelines with different groups of characters, but what's special about the project is that the same group of actors playing all of the roles, no matter how strange. This is a movie that has Hugh Grant playing a businessman and a tribal leader while Hugo Weaving plays an Asian man. Following the release of the first "trailer," our own Katey Rich did an awesome job explaining what the hell is going on in the film, but now an official website has launched that gives us a closer look at all of the characters.
Discovered over at CloudAtlas.WarnerBros.com, the site doesn't have a great deal of special features on it, but it does allow you to sort through the timelines and look at headshots of the various characters. Below you will find that I have stitched some of the images together so that you can see just how incredible the transformations are. Check them out and click on each one to see it in high-res, and head over to the official site to see more!
