Since 2006 when the series was canceled far before its time, fans of Arrested Development have been clamoring for a movie adaptation. We've heard plenty of promises of "coming soon" from the series creator and the actors, but we're now coming up on five years seemingly without any forward motion. Peep World may be the closest we ever get to an Arrested Development movie.

Yahoo! has premiered the trailer for the comedy which has an all-star cast that includes the likes of Michael C. Hall, Sarah Silverman, Rainn Wilson, Kate Mara, Taraji P. Henson, Judy Greer, Stephen Tobolowsky, and the hopefully-soon-to-be-huge Ben Schwartz. In the film, four siblings who have spent their lives living in lazy luxury suddenly find their lives become public fodder as the youngest brother publishes a book about them.

It's probably a little early to be calling this film a stop-gap for Arrested Development, but I must say that I really enjoyed this trailer. All of the actors seem perfectly suited for their roles and it seems like there's plenty of room for each to explore. Also, why hasn't Lewis Black been given voice-over work before now? Peep World hits theaters on March 25.

Fun Fact: Rainn Wilson was in the running for the role of GOB Bluth on Arrested Development before Will Arnett was cast instead. Revenge?
