New Good Day To Die Hard TV Spot Has John McClane Offering A Hug

Visiting the movie theater earlier this week for a Christmas showing of Django Unchained, it was impossible not to notice the giant poster with Bruce Willis' face behind the words "Yippee Ki-Yay Mother Russia." John McClane will be back in theaters this February for some Moscow shenanigans. We shared a new TV spot for A Good Day to Die Hard yesterday and today brings another one, which gives a little more attention to John McClane's son Jack, played by Spartacus' Jai Courtney.

Directed by John Moore, A Good Day to Die Hard will have John McClane (Willis) headed over to Russia to help his son Jack when he gets into some trouble. The TV spot below begins with McClane being welcomed to Russia. Things get kind of explosive from there.

The TV spot looks like an abridged version of the international trailer that was released back in October, particularly in the brief lines spoken by Courtney's character Jack, but it's still good to see a bit more emphasis on the son half of this father-son duo.

A Good Day to Die Hard arrives in theaters February 14, which means Valentines Day will be a good day to Die Hard for fans of the franchise. Watch the other new TV spot here. And find more information about A Good Day to Die Hard in our Blend Film Database.
