Hero Blend #58: The Avengers: Age Of Ultron Reviewed (Spoiler Free Edition!)

Superhero fans have been waiting years for this weekend. Ever since the release of Joss Whedon’s The Avengers in 2012, Marvel Studios fans have been insanely hungry for more big screen material, and few films in history have been so hotly anticipated as The Avengers: Age of Ultron. But does the movie actually live up to the hype? Will it satisfy fans who have spent so long craving it?

Helping me to answer those very big questions on this week’s episode is none other than Cinema Blend’s own Sean O’Connell (whose full review you can actually read right here). In advance of the movie’s release, both of us actually had the opportunity to take in two screenings of the summer blockbuster, giving us the ability to look at the movie from both a macro and micro perspective. It may be surprising to hear, but the second viewing definitely made us look at the finished product quite a bit different. The Avengers: Age of Ultron is a complicated, interesting film to say the least, and it made for a great conversation. Enjoy Hero Blend #58!
