The release of Les Miserables is within sight, with just a few days more until its Christmas release. With that in mind, some might prefer to refrain from indulging in whatever additional promotional material for the musical might make its way online ahead of the film's debut, while others won't be able to help themselves from watching every snippet of film that arrives. If you're among the latter group, watch the full "One Day More" scene ahead!
"One Day More" is the closing number for the first act of the stage musical based on Victor Hugo's novel, and it's one of the more memorable songs in a musical full of memorable songs, as it brings together many of the main characters as they prepare for revolution. The video below, which was posted on reddit (via MTV), gives us a look at the performance in the film.
In addition to offering a preview of one of the songs from the film, "One Day More" gives us a nice sampling of the voices among the cast, which includes Russell Crowe, Hugh Jackman, Amanda Seyfried, Eddie Redmayne, Samantha Barks, Aaron Tveit, Helena Bonham Carter and Sacha Baron Cohen. The only lead not included in this number is Anne Hathaway, who plays Fantine, who doesn't appear in this portion of the story. Hathaway was featured in the previously released clip, which offers a snippet from "At The End of the Day." And Hathaway's voice is also included in the earlier promotions for the movie, which have her singing the emotionally charged "I Dreamed a Dream."
At this point, we've heard plenty from the film. Fans who want to see the whole thing have only to wait until next week, when Les Miserables arrives in theaters December 25. More information, photos and video can be found in our Blend Film Database.
