Looper Deleted Scene Has Emily Blunt And Garret Dillahunt Sharing A Tense Moment

Rian Johnson's sci-fi thriller Looper arrived on DVD and Blu-ray this week, offering a number of bonus features, among which are deleted scenes. One of them has made its way online and gives us a look at a tense moment between Emily Blunt and Garret Dillahunt.
Dillahunt has taken on different kinds of roles over the course of his career. More recently, he's been making us laugh as the goofy but lovable patriarch of the Chance family in Fox's comedy Raising Hope. He almost makes us forget that in Looper with his role as Gat Man Jesse, who's less about cleaning pools and goofing off as he is about taking care of business, which is what he's doing in the deleted scene below (via MTV).
The scene has Jesse examining the basement room where he believes Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Joe might be hiding. It seems like even Sara (Emily Blunt) is unsure of whether or not he's down there somewhere, and she makes the wise choice to unzip the hamper before Jesse decides to shoot. Meanwhile, it seems like Jesse is just as hesitant to fire a hole through the hamper as he is to step all the way into the room.
For those who haven't picked up Looper on DVD or Blu-ray, the DVD extras include 5 deleted scenes with the director's commentary, while the Blu-ray extras include an additional 17 deleted scenes. Jessica gave the DVD three and a half stars. You can read her review here.
