Martin Landau And Ellen Burstyn Find Love In Trailer For Lovely, Still

Some performances are so memorable that it's hard to see an actor in any other role. For Martin Landau that role will always be the aging, foul-mouthed Bela Lugosi in Tim Burton's Ed Wood, which earned him an Academy Award. For Ellen Burstyn that role will always be the speed-addicted, TV obsessed Sara Goldfarb in Darren Aronofsky's Requiem for a Dream. It's going to be odd to see those characters fall in love.
Yahoo! has posted the trailer for Lovely, Still which co-stars the equally awesome Adam Scott and Elizabeth Banks. In the film, Martin Landau plays an elderly grocery clerk who, after living decades alone, finally finds love for the first time in his life. The whole thing seems like a story you'd find in AARP Magazine (which, coincidentally has a critic's quote), but, at the same time could succeed if done right.
