PGA Nominates The Dark Knight

After being mostly ignored in early awarding and nominating, The Dark Knight’s Oscar chances are suddenly looking up. The Producers Guild Awards have just announced their 2008 nominees, and TDK earned a nod.

The PGA’s awards are a little different than most. They focus entirely on producing, picking out the best produced films in a variety of different categories. The Dark Knight was nominated in Theatrical Motion Pictures, along with Frost/Nixon, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Milk, and Slumdog Millionaire.
