Even though November 11 of next year (2011!) should really just be the ultimate excuse for a blowout Veteran's Day, Darren Lynn Bousman is turning it into an occasion for horror. He's directing 11-11-11, a horror film with an numerological bent that posits the arrival of a devil on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month of the 11th year… you get where this is going.

We already knew a far bit about the film's concept when it was first announced, but now Bloody Disgusting has gotten their hands on some significant plot details, along with what looks like the first teaser poster. The film focuses on an author who reunites with his brother and dying father in Barcelona. Eventually he becomes obsessed with the number 11, and "soon realizes that this number holds a horrific meaning not only to himself but possibly to all of religion." As it turns out, "11/11/11 is more than just a date, it's a WARNING!" Yup, I love this too.

Check out the teaser poster below (click on it for the full size version at Bloody Disgusting), and try not to be grossed out by its total rip-off of the No Country for Old Men tagline "You can't stop what's coming." I tried and failed, so I wish you better luck. Look for 11-11-11 in theaters-- when else?-- November 11 next year.
