Rashida Jones Returns To Harvard For The Social Network

Rashida Jones isn't just the daughter of two famous people-- Quincy Jones and Peggy Lipton-- or the person to show up on The Office who was too attractive to believably work at a company like Dunder Mifflin. She's also a smarty-pants who graduated from Harvard, and she'll be returning to her alma mater in some capacity thanks to a role in The Social Network, David Fincher's drama about the founding of Facebook.
Jesse Eisenberg is playing Mark Zuckerberg, who started the site in a cloud of controversy while a student at Harvard. The Variety article announcing Jones's casting doesn't specify what role she will play, and it's actually kind of hard to figure out. Jones is too old to convincingly play a college student, and there weren't all that many women involved in the creation of the site to begin with. The Karen Fillipelli faithful, however, probably won't concern themselves with such trivial questions.
