Anchor Bay has been gearing up for the Blu-ray introduction of Silent Night, the remake of the 1980s slasher classic, Silent Night, Deadly Night that is part wild Christmas tale and part horrifying horror flick. Silent Night hits Blu-ray and DVD on December 4, and we have a special bonus clip for anyone keeping tabs on the upcoming release.

The film has teased us over the last few weeks with the promise of Jaime King and Malcolm McDowell as police officers tracking down a serial killer in a Santa suit. We’ve seen plenty of the bad Santa in action, but we haven’t really gotten to see how King and McDowell play off of one another. The above video gives us more of a taste of the two officers in action. King seems to be playing the smart cookie and straight shooter to McDowell’s odder personality, which is good, since the man seems a little too willing to roll with a hunch.

The flick doesn’t come with a ton of bonus features, and by that I mean none. However, the good news is that it will run pretty cheaply. Blu-ray copies will cost $29.99 (but if you don’t want to pay that much, a little site called Amazon may help you out). Additionally, DVD copies will run for $24.98.
