I should have known Naomi Watts’ career was in a downward spiral when I started getting crazed emails from some random, stakler/fan every time I wrote about a movie she was connected to in some way without mentioning her name. There was a time when Watts seemed on her way to becoming Nicole Kidman, now everyone’s talking about The International as Clive Owen’s new movie… no mention of Watts who also co-stars in it with him.
It’s not that Naomi’s done anything wrong, she’s just settled in to her proper place in this world as a dependable, well liked character actress. She’s Paul Giamatti, if Paul Giamattie was super hot. Take that crazy Naomi Watts’ stalker! I await your psychotic, threatening email.
