Watch 41 Minutes Of Star Trek Bloopers In This Ultimate Outtake Reel

As one of the longest-running and most expansive sci-fi universes that's ever existed, Star Trek has become so big that even its fans split off into separate categories. You can be a Next Generation fan who has no use for the original series, or a Deep Space Nine devotee who wholly rejects J.J. Abrams' cinematic reboot. It actually makes it fun to discover the Trek universe as a newcomer-- you get to choose sides, and then maybe explore the rest of the universe from there.

But you know what ought to unite all Trekkers? Watching the cast crack up laughing. And one devoted Trek fan has assembled the ultimate video of on-set bloopers and mistakes, featuring scenes from all of the various TV series and movies, including Abrams's Star Trek. Check it out in its epic 41-minute glory below. Yeah, you might want to set aside your lunch break to make it through this:

There's just something about seeing someone dressed as a Klingon cracking up that makes your heart smile, and don't even get me started on the moments between William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy, whose chemistry was such a key part of the original Star Trek film series, and who make even their blooper moments perfect. It'll take forever to dig through and find all the best bits-- though I do enjoy that a good Whoopi Goldberg one shows up at the front-- but hopefully one of you guys can do the digging and pick your own highlights in the comments below.
