Weekend Box Office

Some where Tom Hanks is saying, "And I would've gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those damn kids." The Scooby sequel is on top this weekend with Hanks' caper comedy bringing up the rear. Somewhere Kevin Smith is crying in his Cheerios for his 6th consecutive NOT-#1. However Jersey Girl was able to pull in more than Gigli's worldwide gross this weekend.

Mel's "Passion" dipped to #3, and has crossed the $300 mill mark making it the #1 highest grossing 'R' rated movie and #13 highest grossing flick domestically.....of all time. Bumping Home Alone off the Top 20 for the first time in over 10 years, The Passion of The Christ is sandwiched between Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone and Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.
