The Oscars had the attention of Frozen fans last night, as those who loved the Disney musical tuned in to see if it would with for Best Animated Movie and Best Original Song. And there was also the anticipated performance of "Let it Go" by Idina Menzel. ABC put the performance online for those who want to watch it over and over.

I thought it was good, though it sounded like it got ahead of the music a few times, but Menzel's voice is amazing and it was great to see her sing the song live and then have that followed up with "Let it Go" winning for Best Song. That award put Robert Lopez onto the select list of EGOT award winners, as he now has an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony Award, thanks to his successful career as a songwriter.

The Academy Awards was a great night for musical performances in general, with all five four nominated songs being sung during the event, as well as a few other musical performances.

Pink belted out an outstanding version of "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" for The Wizard of Oz tribute:

No acrobatics for this performance, but no spectacle necessary here. She nailed it.

Meanwhile Pharrell Williams got a few celebrities and a lot of dancers to get "Happy" with him during his performance of the "Happy."

Let's all admire Meryl's outstanding shoulder dancing...

And Lupita for the moves and that incredible dress...

Among the more random musical moments, there's Darlene Love's impromptu performance when she took to the stage during the acceptance of 20 Feet from Stardom's Best Documentary Award...

More people should sing their speeches, I think.

ABC has more musical performances on their website, including U2's "Ordinary Love" and Karen O's enchanting performance of "The Moon Song" from Her. If you're looking for the full winner's list from last night's Academy Awards, find it here.
