Subscribe To Weekend Box Office: Think Like A Man Too Is Number One In A Field of Number Twos Updates
Summer sequels took the top three spots this weekend, with newcomer Think Like A Man Too banking number one with $30 million. That's down slightly from the opening weekend of its predecessor which earned a $33 million debut two years ago.

Last weekend's top earner 22 Jump Street crossed the $100 million threshold this weekend, hitting a ten day mark of $111 million, well ahead of the $70 million that 21 Jump Street had earned in the same amount of time.

How To Train Your Dragon 2 added $25 million this weekend, falling short of $100 million and holding at $95 million in domestic sales. After ten days that's on par with the $92 million the first How To Train Your Dragon had banked in the same amount of time, and a jump given how far behind the sequel was on its opening weekend.

Jersey Boys opened as a musical on Broadway in 2005 and won 4 Tonys, including the coveted award for best musical. The screen adaptation opened this weekend to a limp 54% critic rating on Rotten Tomatoes and a quiet fourth place box office opening of $13 million against its $40 million budget. Without much international appeal, the adaptation is likely to fade fast and quiet.
