Way back in 2010, former Price is Right model Brandi Cochran sued the show for allegedly firing her after finding out she was pregnant. The Price is Right maintains that many models have gotten pregnant while working on the show. Nonetheless, Cochran has pulled through, winning $775,000 dollars from the suit, and that number has the potential to go even higher.

Early on Tuesday, news broke that the former game show model had won the suit, earning $775,000 from a jury verdict. If that seems like a lot of money, the jury was potentially swayed somewhat by various Cochran's filing, which also noted producers made comments about her pregnancy, including calling her derogatory terms such as “wide load.”

Cochran’s win makes The Price is Right look pretty bad, and it could even mean the production company running the show may have to shell out extra in the future. According to TMZ, if the jury determines the comments of staff members were “malicious” she could be due an even bigger pay day. However, a representative of the production company says the case was flawed and the court didn’t even get to hear some favorable information that would lean toward the production company’s side. The rep says things should work out as the case continues through court.
"We expect to be fully vindicated after the matter has been reviewed and stand behind executive producer Mike Richards and the staff of The Price is Right."

Pop Blend will keep you posted as the case continues to pan out in court.
