Killer Who Mailed Body Parts To Canadian Politicians May Have Posted The Murder Online
Bisexual porn star and suspected murderer Luka Rocco Magnotta is still on the loose, and authorities suspect he may have already fled North America. The twenty-nine-year-old has been placed on Interpol’s most wanted list, and he is now considered a dangerous fugitive around the world. It’s just the latest development in a sick and macabre case that has turned Canada’s collective stomach.
The mess came to the public’s attention earlier this week when a human torso was discovered behind a Montreal apartment building on Tuesday. An hour or so later, a severed foot was discovered in a mailed package at Conservative Party headquarters. Later in the evening, a severed hand was discovered at a mail processing center. It was addressed to the Liberal Party headquarters. By Wednesday morning, all three segments of the body were matched to the same person, and a Canada-wide investigation began to find the poor man’s killer.
The evidence soon led back to Luka Rocco Magnotta, and police were alerted to a video posted on Best Gore that appears to show the suspect murdering his victim with an ice pick and a knife. The eleven minute clip is one of the most graphic ever posted on the Internet and features the killer sexually assaulting the dead body of his victim.
According to The National Post, the video, entitled 1 Lunatic, 1 Ice Pick is far from the first disturbing piece of footage Magnotta is accused of having made. He’s long been suspected of being the man who posted four different videos of kittens being tortured.
Magnotta also popped on the public’s radar about five years ago when he was romantically linked to Karla Homolka, the ex-wife of serial killer Paul Bernardo. He denied the allegation at the time, but in retrospect, it sounds like too strange of a coincidence to be ignored.
We’ll keep you updated as police continue to search for Magnotta.
