See Kate Upton's SI Swimsuit Cover And Rate Its Hotness

There are hundreds of prestigious jobs high-end models audition for each year, but few attract as many eyeballs or as much publicity as the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover. Since Babette March graced the front of the first such issue in 1964, an embarrassment of beautiful and famous women have followed in her footsteps. From Christie Brinkley to Elle Macpherson to Cheryl Tiegs, many of these women have gone on to be actresses (Rebecca Romijn), reality television stars (Heidi Klum) and talk show hosts (Tyra Banks). Even an already famous Beyonce took her turn in 2007.

As such, there was a whole lot of speculation about which woman would get the honor this year. Typically, the announcement is made on The Late Show With David Letterman, but this year, the cover leaked a few hours early, revealing Kate Upton as the chosen beauty. You can take a look at the picture below…

As last year’s inset, it’s not a big surprise Upton was picked as the main face of this year’s issue. I highly doubt the above picture will attract as many complaints as Cheryl Tiegs’ fishnet in ’78, but I’m sure Sports Illustrated will sell a hell of a lot of copies based on the above hotness.

What do you think? How hot does Kate Upton look? Let us know by voting in the poll below…
