Thief Steals 155K Worth Of Purses From Chris Bosh's Wife

While Miami Heat all-star Chris Bosh and his wife Adrienne were out celebrating the athlete’s birthday last night, a thief crept into their home and stole more than four hundred thousand dollars in goods and cash. The couple discovered the thievery when they got home and immediately alerted the police, but by then, the bandit had vanished into the night, never to be seen again, probably.

I say probably because oddly, the burglary took place while at least Bosh’s children and two separate babysitters were inside the residence. According to TMZ, two doors are thought to have been unlocked when the crime took place, and no signs of forced entry were discovered anywhere. Thus, it’s possible this was a crime of opportunity, but more than likely, it was perpetrated by someone with specific knowledge of the property, as well as the whereabouts of Chris and Adrienne. Besides, one of the pieces of jewelry not taken was Bosh’s Miami Heat Championship Ring, which, Dr Lance Sweets would tell you is probably an indication the thief knew Chris or is just so paranoid he didn’t want to risk getting caught with it down the road.

The specific breakdown of items stolen is twelve watches worth approximately $300,000, two rings worth approximately $4,000, several purses worth $155,000 (not as ridiculous as you’d think) and roughly $20,000 in miscellaneous cash. Police are reportedly investigating everyone who has had access to the home in the past, but those interviews could take awhile. For the time being, it’s good to know that everyone is safe and unharmed.

The Bosh family has had some frustrating and some traumatic situations to deal with over the past few years. Here’s to hoping things get a little more cheery moving forward.
