Rockstar Games and Team Bondi announced details on L.A. Noire's downloadable content today. Their plans for DLC culminate with a new service called the L.A. Noire Rockstar Pass.

In the week since L.A. Noire's release, Rockstar's been quiet about the prospect of downloadable content. However, soon they'll start providing details.

On Saturday Rockstar Games released a patch for their detective game L.A. Noire. It fixes a number of small issues on both the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions.

Crime thriller L.A. Noire's first premium DLC has been confirmed by Rockstar. The publisher's website now lists a release date for the content, entitled "Nicholson Electroplating."

Best Buy's latest ad mentions a downloadable content pack for L.A. Noire entitled "Nicholson Electroplating Arson Case." Apparently they'll be giving it away for free to midnight shoppers.

Today Rockstar Games revealed two music collections inspired by L.A. Noire. L.A. Noire: Remixed and the L.A. Noire Official Soundtrack will be released on iTunes on May 17th.

Rockstar Games is really trying to promote L.A. Noire as a work of art. They showed off the game at Tribeca Film Festival and now they've announced a short story collection based on the game.
