L.A. Noire Is Now Available For The Xbox 360, PS3

That’s right, folks. L.A. Noire – after all its delays and extremely long development cycle – is finally done and finished and out and about at your local retailer. This means that once you get done reading this post you can head to the nearest brick and mortar retailer and pick up your very own copy of the open-world noire crime drama.

Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games commented in the press release for the game, saying…

“Team Bondi worked hard to stay true to the noir genre,” ... “L.A. Noire blends realistic performances with gritty action and real detective work, throwing players headfirst into the dark heart of Los Angeles.”

The game uses a new form of motion-capture that actually captures facial movement like never before. The technology behind the game is like the current generation (or next generation, depending on how you look at it) of the same sort of breakthroughs that were used in Broderbund’s The Last Express back in 1997.

Gamers will experience a highly detailed and recreated L.A. during the peak transitional period of organized crime and political corruption during Hollywood’s Golden Age. Many cases reflect the real-life crimes committed back during that time, including pseudo-recreations of the Black Dahlia murders.

You can pick up a copy of L.A. Noire, which is rated ‘M’ for Mature, for $59.99 on either the Xbox 360 or PS3. For more info feel free to visit the Official Website.
