How Susan Lucci Will Reunite With The All My Children Cast

Actress Susan Lucci spent decades on daytime television thanks to her role as Erica Kane on the long-running ABC soap opera All My Children. The soap went off the air back in 2011, and fans have been missing their daily dose of Lucci and her fellow cast mates. Now, years after the conclusion of All My Children, the crew will be getting back together again. Lucci and other past All My Children stars will meet up once more for a reunion special on Hallmark Channel's Home & Family.

The All My Children reunion will take place on Hallmark's Home & Family during a very special week for the show. Susan Lucci has signed on to appear on the series as a guest co-host for a full week, starting on January 30. One of the episodes from her week as co-host will feature All My Children veterans Peter Bergman, Kim Delaney, Lawrence Lau, Eden Riegel, Kathleen Noone, Eva LaRue, John Callahan, Rebecca Budig, and Cameron Mathison. In addition to the actors reuniting, the episode will feature clips showcasing the best and most dysfunctional moments from the All My Children characters over the years. In the midst of the fun and festivities, however, People reports that the Home & Family episode will take the time to honor series creator Agnes Nixon as well as all the All My Children actors who have passed away. All things considered, the episode should be must-see TV for All My Children fans.

Susan Lucci played Erica Kane for a whopping 41 years, from the time that All My Children premiered in 1970 to its cancellation in 2011. She was one of the most famous faces on daytime television in her day, so it's only fitting that she brings the All My Children cast back together. She's also bringing her husband and two kids along for her co-hosting gig. It should be a week unlike any other on Home & Family.

Home & Family is lucky to have landed Susan Lucci for a whole week. Despite her dismay at the cancellation of All My Children - and her open criticism of ABC for allowing it to happen - Lucci has stuck around on the small screen. She had a guest run on Lifetime's Army Wives in Season 6, and she memorably played herself several times on TV Land's Hot In Cleveland. 2016 marked the end of her four seasons as Genevieve Delatour on Lifetime's Devious Maids, which has been cancelled and will not return for a Season 5. She has kept busy over the years.

Susan Lucci has never appeared on television in quite the same capacity as she will in her co-hosting gig on Home & Family. It should be interesting to see how she does during her week in the Hallmark spotlight. The show tackles everything from cooking and playing games to interior design.

Tune in to Hallmark on Thursday, February 2 at 10 a.m. ET to catch Susan Lucci welcoming her former All My Children co-stars on Home & Family, and don't forget to check out our midseason TV premiere schedule.
