Subscribe To HBO's True Blood Season 4 Preview: A Little Extra This Time Updates
It seems like there has been a never-ending stream of True Blood trailers lately, and personally, I'm fine with it...nay, happy for it to continue, because what HBO has done is slightly tweak each one to not only offer new footage but deliver different tones. This latest look, courtesy of Friday night's Extra, starts heavy with the political drama before sliding into the usually sexy, sleazy, supernatural melodrama.

This is probably my favorite preview so far because, like I said, it's as if we're getting two trailers in one. The slow build, narrated by Eric's (Alexander Skarsgard) public service announcement trying to sway fears in this "post-Russell Edgington world," draws you in before Queens of the Stone Age's "Burn the Witch" takes it home.

It doesn't hurt to see our characters doing what they do best...Sookie being sassy, Bill being all stoic, Tara bitching, Eric hitting on Sookie, Jason tied to a bedpost, Sam falling for a female, Jessica being bad, Lafayette being sassy, etc. (wow, there are a lot of characters). Take a look.

True Blood Season 4 premieres June 26th, 9PM EST on HBO.
