It seems like Paul Scheer is everywhere lately. FX viewers can catch him on The League, which kicked off its third season with a hilarious episode just last night, and he’s set to make his grand return to man-eating-fish infested waters when Piranha 3DD hits theaters next month. Adult Swim is also prepared to bring him back as they’ve renewed his comedy series NTSF:SD:SUV for a second season.

NTSF:SD:SUV stands for National Terrorism Strike Force: San Diego: Sport Utility Vehicle. The 15-minute Adult Swim comedy parodies popular TV procedurals and ridiculous stunt-filled action movies. Scheer plays Trent Hauser, who’s among the team of experts often tasked to save the day. Also among the cast is Rebecca Romijn, Martin Starr, June Dianel Raphael, and Kate Mulgrew.

According to the Hollywood Reporter NTSF:SD:SUV has been renewed for Season 2. “"I'm very excited to continue to punch, shoot, stab and run people over with Lawnmowers and get paid for it,” Scheer says.

The country may be a safer place with NTSF:SD:SUV still around, so thanks for that, Adult Swim.
