Subscribe To American Horror Story: Asylum's Second Teaser Is As Creepy As Its First Updates
American Horror Story: Asylum is gearing up for an October premiere date, and the promotional material portraying the upcoming season has not disappointed thus far. The show’s newest teaser clip follows a nun covered in white from her habit to her face makeup. The scene is as stark as the nun herself, with the only pops of color being a silent nun figure in one corner, seemingly praying, and a little girl’s blue coat. As the white nun rapidly moves across the room, eerie music accompanies her pacing.

The new trailer is as mystic and mysterious as the season’s first promotional video, which featured another nun carrying two pails with potentially fleshy contents into some creepy forestry. Although neither video has been particularly long—both have run a whopping 19 seconds--both previews have given us hints about Season 2 of FX’s hit show. Namely, both previews have really highlighted there will be prominent religious aspects to Asylum, without getting into too many specifics. Personally, however, I'm more interested in the significance of the blue coat.

We still have a lot to learn about the upcoming season, which will feature a ton of new characters, but the 1960s asylum setting is growing more unsettling by the minute. American Horror Story: Asylum doesn’t actually appear until October, so there’s a good chance we will get to see a more substantial preview before new episodes hit. At least, I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed.
