Channing Tatum And Fred Armisen Dirty-Dance Together In Saturday Night Live Promo

With The Vow premiering this month and 21 Jump Street set to hit theaters next month, Channing Tatum is a little bit everywhere these days. This Saturday night you can find him hosting Saturday Night Live. Check out his promo for the episode ahead!

?Tatum will host the episode on Saturday, with musical guest Bon Iver. Given that most of Tatum’s more recent work includes serious films - unless you remember She’s The Man and/or have chosen not to mental-block The Dilemma - this Saturday’s SNL should give us an opportunity to see his lighter side, if not in anticipation of The Vow, then of 21 Jump Street, in which he co-stars with Jonah Hill, and which looks like it could turn out to be a pretty funny film.

The SNL promo below has Tatum promoting this week's episode alongside Fred Armisen. The best one is probably the last plug in the video, which has Armisen going all Baby on Tatum, Dirty Dancing-style.

On a random aside, despite how badly that lift between Tatum and Armisen went, I’m now now almost convinced that Tatum (whose film credits include more than one Step Up film) should be the new Johnny Castle in the Dirty Dancing remake (...if they aged him down a bit). Nobody puts Tatum in the corner.

Saturday Night Live airs Saturday at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
