So I guess anyone can get their own television show these days. All they have to do is post a video on their blog telling the world to stop making fun of Britney Spears. And Chris Crocker, better known as the “Leave Britney Alone Guy” might just be getting his own show Varitey is reporting.
For those of you who don’t know who Chris Crocker is, he is a 19-year-old openly gay guy from Tennessee, who lives with his grandparents, although none of that information is really all that important. What is important is the awesome video he posted about a week ago on his MySpace page. In the “LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!” video, he criticizes celebrities like Simon Cowell and Perez Hilton for making fun of Britney Spears’s recent VMA “performance.” The video, which had been viewed more than 2 million views in a 24 hour period, shows Crocker going on an on for over two minutes about how Britney’s “not well” (no s*it Sherlock) but she’s a “HUMAN” and all everyone wants out of her is “more more more more MORE”!
Whether or not Crocker’s tears were genuine, doesn’t really matter. His little two minute rant over Britney has made him famous. Great tactic! I wish I thought of it first because 44 Blue Productions has worked out a deal with Crocker to develop a “docusoap” based solely around him.
I don’t know if the “LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE!” video was meant to be funny or if Crocker really is this distraught over how the press treats Britney Spears but I do know that the video is priceless! However, my description of it simply cannot do it justice, so check out the video for yourself below. Just a warning that Chris Crocker does curse throughout the video.
