Dexter Season 6 Behind The Scenes Video And Episode Photos

Two months. That’s how long we have to wait until Season 6 of Dexter airs on Showtime. Actually, it’s couple of days less than that, but close enough. To celebrate the countdown, we have a video that Showtime released today, which features the cast as they discuss their characters and where things pick up in the new season.
SPOILERS AHEAD!
This video includes some details about what’s to come, as well as footage from the new season. They're more or less the teasing kind of spoilers and not anything that's likely to "ruin" the season premiere for you, but if you don't want to know anything at all about Season 6, now's the time to stop reading!
Some interesting points mentioned:
Season 6 jumps forward a year, with Harrison a bit older and more developed (yay!), and Dexter hopefully in a more settled place as far as losing Rita goes, as well as Lumen’s departure.
Dexter’s trying to “cultivate a spiritual sense” in his son! God explored from the mind of a serial killer? Intriguing…
There are some “horrific death scenes” coming up. It seems to be implied that these are the work of the season’s big bad: Edward James Olmos’ character Prof. Gellar and his devoted sidekick Travis (Colin Hanks).
Did anyone else think the “God is a Mighty Fortress…!” guy on Dexter’s table sounded/looked-like Henry Rollins?
Speaking of Dexter’s table, that brings me to the next batch of goodies! Below are a number of photos from the Season 6 premiere episode, one of which includes what appears to be a two-for for Dexter. It wouldn’t be the first time he had two victims side-by-side.
Dexter Season 6 premieres October 2nd at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Showtime.
