Lil’ Bush is a pretty darn funny little show, but I probably wouldn’t have ever watched it if I hadn’t mistakenly been waiting for Reno 911 to start (I thought it was Wednesday, and they air in the same time slot).
This week, the special guest is the fabulous Good Charlotte starring as the band at the “big dance”. A press release we received says:
“With the school dance coming up, Lil’ George doesn’t know who to take. His brain advises him to be cautious, but George plows ahead and ends up inviting three dates. Once they get to the dance (featuring Good Charlotte as Good Charlotte cover band “Good Charlotter”) George has to silence his brain once and for all. George Sr. is dealing with an annoying houseguest, King Fahd of Saudi Arabia, who parties like a frat guy and lords his oil over the president. Tune in Thursday night at 10:30 p.m. on Comedy Central.
Occasionally the show goes a little too far, and makes jokes that aren’t as funny as the writer’s thought, but this episode is pretty cute. Check out the video – the funniest part is Good Charlotte talking about where Good Charlotte, “Better Charlotte”, and “Best Charlotte” are performing.
