The writing team behind The Hangover may be contributing their talent to the small screen, more specifically at ABC. Writers Jon Lucas and Scott Moore have secured a pilot order for their comedy project Mixology, which is set at a Manhattan bar. There seems to be a recurring drinking theme with their projects, especially when you factor in the new movie they also have in the works.

By the title, Mixology and the bar setting, one might jump to the conclusion that Lucas and Moore's ABC project might emphasize partying, much in the way The Hangover did, but from what Deadline reports, it sounds like love is the primary focus for this high-concept single camera comedy. The comedy "chronicles the exploits of singles in search of love– all over the course of one night."

So, while drinking seems to be part of the concept, given the "sexy Manhattan bar" setting, it seems the show's focus will be on seeing people try to connect. This pilot joins How The F Am I Normal and Trophy Wife among the comedy pilots lined up for the network.

We can also expect more feature work from the writing duo. In addition to Mixology, Lucas and Moore also have 21 and Over in the works. Not only did they write the feature film, which will star Miles Teller, Justin Chon, Skylar Astin and Sarah Wright and centers on the 21st birthday celebration of one of the characters, but Lucas and Moore also directing that one. Among their other writings credits is the feature film The Change-Up, which stars Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman as two guys who end up body-switched after a few too many drinks.
