Heroes Picked Up For Full Season

NBC’s ‘Heroes’ gets first honors for getting picked up for a full season. The super series came in first with the desirable 18-49 demographic, and was second in overall viewers. It has held steady in it’s second week. This is good news for us fans who can’t wait to have our questions answered, which writers have said will come about. No adding fifteen questions for every one answered, like on ‘Lost.’

NBC TV president Kevin Reilly said, ”’Heroes’ has delivered exceptional ratings since its premiere, and we're even more impressed with the quality of the upcoming episodes.” So it looks like NBC is committed to giving the potentially great show a fighting chance.

‘Heroes’ is just one of a few shows the Peacock has added to its lineup, making this season the best NBC has had in many years. Other entries like ‘Studio 60’ and ‘Friday Night Lights’ have not done nearly as well in viewers, but critics and those who’ve caught the shows have provided positive feedback. There is the issue of ‘Heroes’ being heavily promoted over the summer, whereas other shows were introduced a few weeks before their premieres.
